Who We Are?
Kids For Cause® is an organization that helps the ‘not-so-lucky’ people of our society through participation from the kids and donations from our patrons. We help children in learning about kindness and compassion and bring them into an environment that helps them in applying these humane qualities.
All our programs work with the help of children who want to understand empathy and genuine care. We do not believe in creating ‘events’ that will provide one-time exposure to children. Instead, we are working hard to make sure that kindness becomes a habit. We have many wonderful programs that help the homeless and the impoverished.
Our programs are designed to help the youth build a sense of social responsibility and also help the people who are struggling with hunger, homelessness and deprivation.
We don’t only help communities but make sure that children remain involved in small acts of kindness. They learn values that can help them become better citizens.
Members who work together for a common cause. We believe in making the world a better place to live. Our ideals are compassion, kindness and empathy. We believe in inculcating a sense of genuine emotions for those who are homeless or impoverished in the younger generation.
This is why Kids For Cause works extensively with the younger members of our society and teach them about kindness.
The environment around us is going towards an isolated ‘ME’ based philosophy because of which the kids are learning to be sympathetic and not empathetic towards the people around them. There is a difference between shedding a tear and really working forward to help someone in need.
At Kids For Cause we make the children learn about caring, showing kindness and helping the community grow in totality. Instead of individual growth, we adopt a community based growth approach so that the children can learn about the importance of being a part of their own community. The children learn about leadership, discover their interests and also get a chance to make their efforts fruitful.
Kids grow as individuals and also as an important part of the society that believes in equality, harmony and brotherhood. Started by a Sameer A. Kassim, a 3rd grader from Florida, this is one dream that needs to grow and evolve in the future. We are not just making children become better citizens but also developing leaders for a brighter, safer and more peaceful tomorrow.
